Antonio Feio (Lourenço Marques, 6 December 1954 — Lisboa, 29 July 2010)
Yesterday, before I went to sleep, I read at SAPO that the great portuguese actor Antonio Feio has died at 23.40 at Hospital da Luz, in Lisbon. I felt such a shock that tears came to my eyes.
I knew he was ill, but he was a fighter and made me laugh so many times...
I've enjoyed great hilarious moments at Teatro Villaret in Lisbon
or at the cinema with Filme da Treta...:-)
Antonio was not only an actor, he was a stage director too. And a great one!
I will remember always the musical Sexta Feira 13 at Toyota Box, in Lisbon! What I have sung and danced!
However, I will never forget his role in Origens, as a drug addict.
Rest in Peace, Antonio.
We will always remember you for the great moments that you, so generously, have given to us!

Só soube hoje no trabalho fiquei realmente triste, era um grande actor e um grande homem que tanto lutou contra o cancro, é pena que não tenha conseguido vencer. Tenho a certeza que ficará para sempre na memória dos portugueses.

O António deixou-nos a todos cultural e humanamente mais pobres. Para além de excelente profissional era uma excelente pessoa.
Não há palavras...é realmente injusto depois da coragem deste homem que não tenha conseguido (como ele próprio dizia) "matar o bicho com o riso".
Sandra, porque não publicas a magnifica mensagem que nos deixou o António no início do filme Contraluz?
